Sometimes....... I tell myself that I really need to start working out regularly
Always..... I seem to find some excuse or another
Sometimes......I feel a little isolated staying at home so much with my kiddos
Always..... I am thankful for being given the chance to be a mommy and raise my kids
Sometimes......I get frustrated with the night shifts my hubby has to work
Always... I am thankful that he has a job that he loves and that he comes home safe to me in the mornings.
Sometimes.... the jealousy bug hits me and I envy those that have bigger house and nicer things.
Always... I remember that I have so much more than lots and that I need to be thankful for that.

I am new to your sweet blog. I love this post...it has me thinking about my sometimes and always.
ReplyDeleteThe working out thing is totally me too!
ReplyDeleteMy husband just switched back to working overtime...6 days a week. It just started and I'm kind of miserable already. : ( I can't imagine what night shifts would be like, but like you said, it's such a blessing to like your job!
ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but when I get jealous of other people's things, I remember that a lot of those people, for me, have 2 parents that work outside of the home. We could have so much more if I worked, but at the end of the day for us, I'd much rather be home raising my babies day in and day out than have "stuff" that can't be brought with us. That doesn't always help the jealous all the way, but it seems to help somewhat.
ReplyDeleteYou are an AWESOME momma!!!
Hehehehe I'm kinda thinking to work out regularly too but failed every time. Guess I'm too lazy and always always find excuses so that I don't feel bad :D
ReplyDeleteYou have so many blessings in your life, Ashley!! I admire you so much for staying @ home and raising your babes. It is the best "job" ever, I'm sure of it.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a nice balance that is evident throughout your
posts! :)
I hope your week is going well!

What you are for thinking this way Ashley, is normal :)
ReplyDeleteWe all have conflicting thoughts but I totally 100% agree with The Mama's comment above. Trust me, when your kids go off to school you will wonder where those years went :(
And the exercise comment, pfft!! hahahaha can you tell I don't workout?
