Unfortunately, I am old school and don't have the digital copies of my professional wedding photos. :(
So, I have a few candid shots to show you today.
This is where we got married....almost 5 years ago! |
My wedding dress was actually my SECOND wedding dress. I had previously bought one that really flattered me and felt "right" when I tried it on. However, I saw this one in a window and instantly fell in love with it. I just knew the second I put it on that it was meant for me. So, my hubby indulged me and we bought it. The first dress still hangs in my mom's closet with the tags still on it!
Being the dutiful groom and carrying my train. |
Girls being silly trying to calm my nerves before walking down the aisle. |
Walking down the aisle |
Two weeks before my wedding my wisdom teeth became infected and they wanted to pull them. I said heck no! I didn't want to be swollen and in pain so they loaded me up with antibiotics and pain pills. Luckily, the infection went down and the pain subsided. Side note... I still haven't gotten them removed.
But, because my teeth had hurt so bad I was hardly eating and lost more weight after my final fitting. my dress was loose and I ended up stepping on it and almost tripping while going down the aisle. haha
First kiss as husband and wife! |
I wouldn't have changed anything at all about that day.
I love your dress!! I haaaate my wedding dress. And your bridesmaids look beautiful
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really pretty day! Your dress was beautiful! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThat's too funny about two dresses! :) This is a beautiful dress and it looks like a cool wedding. I'm coming up on five years this year too, so happy anniversary to you! :)
ReplyDeletethose are really really beautiful, I love the scenery and setting!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! You were a gorgeous bride!
ReplyDeleteYour wedding was so pretty! I love outdoor ceremonies. My dress looked NOTHING like I imagined it would, either. I thought I'd want a big, poufy, dramatic gown but ended up falling in love with the opposite. It's funny how that happens :)
ReplyDeleteYour dress was so pretty! And I SO admire your for having an outdoor wedding. We were married in June - in Texas, so it wasn't even an option. But it turned out that the day was pretty cool, and if I had been brave enough to plan an outdoor wedding we could probably have pulled it off without any great aunts passing out from heat stroke. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! You look amazing, and your hair is so long!
ReplyDeleteI love your dress Ashley! And I think you looked beautiful (love your hair long) and I adore those bridesmaid dresses and matching pastel colours they chose. Oh and the location!! So beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!! And your dress..... LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteyou looked absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery and I love that dress!! -Jessica
ReplyDeleteSo so so beautiful! I loved it all!! Loved this glimpse of your wedding!
ReplyDeleteYou looked beautiful and your day appeared to be just as beautiful. I am trying to be the relaxed bride, I think it's working so far. I loved your colors. I so wanted an outside wedding but that got nixed right away. We are planning a church wedding. It will be beautiful too but I had a special spot in mind for the outside one. Oh well... at this point I just want to be married to my best friend and it doesn't matter where that the vows are exchanged.
ReplyDeleteAshley!!! You were a stunning bride!! Ahhh, I LOVE your dress! The sweetheart neckline is so flattering. And uh, I LOVE your tan. :)
ReplyDeleteYou, the Mr and your bridesmaids look awesome together. And how pretty...outside! I'm glad you opted out of getting your wisdom teeth pulled! :)
Thank you for sharing!
Xoxoxo
