Whistler is a little resort village a few hours North of Vancouver, B.C. and only about 3-4 hrs from us. It is such a beautiful place and nestled at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains where they have some of the best skiing and snowboarding in North America. I was blown away at how far some people had traveled. Everywhere we went we were meeting people from Australia. Apparently this is a popular destination for them. Whistler also was the host to the 2010 winter olympics.
Neither Brandon or I have ever skiied and didn't have time this trip (let's face it, it is too hard with two little ones) but we want to now! I was in awe at the beauty of this place.
Here is a recap of our trip (in photos)
They still had up Christmas lights and it was beautiful |
This was where the Medal's ceremonies took place during the Olympics |

Whistler looks so pretty. We've heard about its amazing beauty.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of heights either, but yes, some things are worth going out of the comfort zone for.
